My Inspiration

My British wildlife paintings "From the Air to the Sea" are vibrant fine art paintings inspired by my love for nature and my passion to protect our natural world. I use acrylic paint on stretched canvas to capture the beauty of our British wildlife with stars, spirals and mandala patterns to represent the creature's spirituality.

My photography is a celebration of nature's colours and patterns and building's textures and form. I carry my camera wherever I go so that I may capture the colours, shapes and textures of our surrounding spaces. I love all things ancient and how they become one with their environment.

My paintings and photography are available as canvas panel and paper prints. My personalized tote bags and palm sized British wildlife "Animal Inspirations" wall hangers make the perfect gifts for family and friends.

My artwork has always been inspired by nature and my passion to protect it. I am a member of The Association of Animal Artists who support animal welfare and wildlife conservation charities through the promotion and sale of animal art. You can also purchase my work through The Hare Preservation Trust shop, donating 20% to HPT with every sale.

All about me

I am an artist, craftsperson and photographer. I graduated from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design with a BA hons degree in Woven Textiles. On graduation I was awarded a Licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen for 5 years and exhibited my textiles with the Society, at the Mall galleries in London.

I was an Assistant manager for two galleries and a craft centre in Kent for several years. I completed an Origin Framing School framing course which enabled me to become a painter and gilder for a bespoke framing company from 3 years.

Whilst working full time I exhibited and sold woven scarfs, bags and wall hangings, paper mache craft mirrors and paintings in a number of galleries across the country.

In 2007 I became a full time Mum and took a break from my artwork to look after my children. In 2011 we moved to Northamptonshire and I became a TA at a local school. It was during lockdown that I decided to start painting again and develop my love for photography.

I have over the past few years, sold my art, craft and photography at many art and craft fairs and exhibited in a number of galleries.
